Title: Herb Butter Roasted Chicken

4 lb To 5 whole roasting chicken
1/4 c Butter: softened
1 ts Rosemary leaves; crushed
1 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper
2 tb Chopped fresh parsley
1 ts Minced fresh garlic
Heat oven to 350°.
Secure wings to body of chicken. Stir together
remaining ingredients. Rub chicken with butter
mixture. Place on rack in roasting pan. Bake for
2-2 1/2 hours or until fork tender.
