Title: Soft Ginger Bread

1/2 c Sugar
1 c Molasses
1/2 c Butter
1 ts Ginger
1 ts Cloves
1 ts Cinnamon
2 ts Baking soda dissolved in
1 c Boiling water
2 1/2 c Flour
2 Eggs; well beaten
Cream together the sugar, molasses and butter. Add
spices and mix well. Pour in water with baking
soda in it and mix. Gradually beat in the flour,
add the eggs the last thing. Bake in a greased pan
in a 350 degree oven for about an hour or till
done.
