      3 tb Whole wheat white sauce
           .. mix*
      1 c  Milk, water or combination
    1/2 tb To 1 butter; optional

    1/3 c  Mix*
      1 c  Milk, water or combination
    1/2 tb To 1 butter; optional

MMMMM---------------------------THICK-----------------
    2/3 c  Mix*
      1 c  Milk, water or combination
    1/2 tb To 1 butter; optional
 
  *Separate recipe.
  
  Add enough liquid to mix to make a smooth paste.
  Add remaining water, bring to a gentle boil and
  cook 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in butter, if using,
  until melted.
  
  Makes 1 cup.
