MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
 
      Title: Applesauce Cake Roll
 Categories: 
      Yield: 6 Servings
 
      3    Eggs
      1 c  Sugar
    1/2 c  Sweetened applesauce
      1 c  Sifted flour
    1/2 ts Baking powder
    1/2 ts Cinnamon
    1/4 ts Baking soda
    1/4 ts Salt
    1/4 ts Ground cloves
    1/2 c  Raisins
    1/2 c  Powdered sugar
      6 oz Softened cream cheese
    1/4 c  Milk
      1 tb Grated orange rind
 
  1. Preheat oven to 375°. Line bottom of a 10x15x1"
  pan with waxed paper. Grease paper & sides of pan.
  
  2. Beat eggs until light & lemon colored. Beat in
  3/4 cup sugar; add applesauce.
  
  3. Sift flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking
  soda, salt and cloves; fold gently into egg
  mixture. Stir in raisins.
  
  4. Transfer batter to pan; bake 20 to 25 mintues.
  Turn cake out onto paper or towel that has been
  sprinkled with 1/4 cup of the powdered sugar. Peel
  paper; trim any hard edges. Roll up as for jelly
  roll; let cool.
  
  5. To make frosting, beat cream cheese, milk,
  orange peel & remaining 1/4 cup sugar. Unroll
  cake; spread evenly and reroll. Sprinkle with
  remaining powdered sugar.
