MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
      Title: Banana Nut Bread
      Yield: 1 Servings
      2 c  Flour
    1/2 ts Baking soda
    1/2 ts Salt
      2 ts Baking powder
    1/2    Nutmeats; chopped
    1/2 c  Wheat bran
    1/4 c  Shortening
    1/2 c  Sugar
      2    Eggs
      2 tb Thick sour cream
  1 1/2 c  Mashed bananas
  Sift together the flour, baking soda, sslt and
  baking powder; stir in the nutmeats and wheat
  Cream the shortening and sugar and add the eggs
  one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each one.
  Mix sour cream with banana; add to sugar mixture
  alternately with flour.
  Pour batter into a well greased loaf pan and bake
  at 350 degrees for about 1 1/4 hours.
  This bread is better if you wait till the second
  day before slicing it.
