MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
      Title: Chicken Kebabs
      Yield: 6 Servings
    3/4 lb Boneless skinless chicken
           .. breasts
      2 ts Lemon juice
      1 ts Curry powder
    1/8 ts Chili powder or cayenne
    1/4 ts Salt
           Oil for deep frying
           Lemon wedges for garnish

      1 c  Flour
      1 c  Water
    1/2 ts Salt
      1 ts Baking powder
    1/2 ts Curry powder
    1/2 c  Dry bread crumbs
  Rub chicken breasts with a mixture of the lemon
  juice, curry powder, chili powder and salt. Place
  on a plate, cover and let stand at room
  temperature for 10 minutes. Cut meat into 12
  strips and thread on metal or bamboo skewers.
  Mix all batter ingredients except bread crumbs.
  Spread bread crumbs out on a plate. Heat oil to
  moderately hot. Dip chicken in batter; roll in
  bread crumbs until well coated. Deep fry about 2
  1/2 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
  Serve hot with lemon wedges.
