      Title: Devil's Food Cake

      Yield: 1 Servings
 
      2 c  Sugar
    1/2 c  Shortening or lard
      2    Eggs
        pn Salt
    1/2 c  Cocoa
    1/2 c  Boiling water
      1 c  Sour milk
      1 ts Vanilla
  2 1/2 c  Flour
 
  Dissolve baking soda in water. Then mix together
  all ingredients in the order given. Grease and
  flour pans, bake in a 375° degree oven for 45-50
  minutes.
