1 pt Dried rose leaves
1/4 oz Orrisroot
2 ts Ginger
2 ts Nutmeg
2 ts Allspice
4 tb Dried lemon verbena
4 tb Dried lavender
Coarse salt
Grain alcohol
Pack thoroughly dried rose petals in a jar,
sprinkling each layer with salt. Cover and let
stand two weeks to a month. Then, blend spices and
herbs in a large bowl. Add petals from jar and mix
well. Return mixture to jar, cover and let rest
another month. When ready for use, shake jar well
and add a few drops of alcohol.
