3 tb Butter
3 md Onions; sliced and in rings
1/4 c Dry sherry or chicken broth
1/4 ts Sugar
1/4 ts Salt
1/8 ts Pepper
1 tb To 2 grated Parmesan cheese
Saute onions in butter 5 to 8 minutes. Add sherry,
sugar, salt and pepper; reduce heat and simmer,
stirring occasionally, 2 to 3 minutes. Sprinkle
with cheese before serving.
