3 lb Tender beef
1 Onion; chopped
Salt and pepper
1/4 ts Ginger
2 Eggs; beaten
1 1/2 c Milk; scalded & cooled
Little suet
1 c Bread crumbs
Cream
Put meat through the meat grinder 3 times. Add
onion, salt, pepper, ginger, eggs, milk, suet, and
bread crumbs. Work with hands into a smooth creamy
loaf. From into balls and fry in butter. When
done, add cream to make gravy. If you want these
to be really round, put formed balls into skillet
and bake at 350° for about 45 minutes.
