MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
 
      Title: Scrapple
 Categories: 
      Yield: 1 Servings
 
           Pork neck bones
  1 1/2 qt Water
      1    Onion; sliced
           Pepper
      1 c  Corn meal
      1 c  Cold water
    1/2 ts Salt
 
  Simmer pork bones in water for a few hours.
  Strain, reserving liquid. Pick meat from bones and
  shred fine. Mix the corn meal with water and salt.
  Put pork stock in the top of double boiler and
  stir in cornmeal mixture. Cook and stir over high
  heat for about 3 minutes. Cover and steam about 15
  minutes, stirring once in a while. Add meat and
  mix. Put into a bread pan and let stand until cold
  and solid. Slice, dip in flour and fry in butter
  or lard.
