      Title: Spiced Apples
      Yield: 4 Servings
  Select perfect, round and well-matured sweet
  apples. Take 1/2 pint vinegar, 1 pint of sugar, 1
  pint of water and place in an earthen or agate
  vessel. Boil for 10 or 15 minutes, then add 3
  drops each of cinnamon and clove oils, and drop in
  the apples. Boil until the apples are soft
