      Title: Spoon Bread

      Yield: 1 Servings
 
      2 c  Corn meal
  2 1/2 c  Water; boiling
  1 1/2 ts Salt
      1 tb Sugar
      2 ts Baking powder
      2    Egg yolks; beaten
    3/4 c  To 1 milk
      3 tb Butter melted
      2    Egg whites; beaten
 
  Pour water over corn meal, stirring all the while.
  Let cool. Mix salt, sugar and baking powder into
  egg yolks; add milk. Stir this into corn meal,
  beating vigorously. Add butter and fold in the egg
  whites. Pour into a well greased deep baking dish.
  Bake at 400° degrees for about 40 minutes. Spoon
  onto plates from baking dish and eat while warm
  with butter.
