Title: Swiss Eggs

1 tb Butter
2 tb Grated cheese
4 sl Cheese; very thin
4 Eggs
3 tb Cream
Salt and pepper
Melt butter in shallow baking dish. Cut the cheese
slices in pieces of convenient size to cover
bottom of dish. Break eggs and drop into dish,
season, and pour the cream over the eggs. Sprinkle
the grated cheese on top and bake in a moderate
oven until the eggs are set and the cheese is a
delicate brown color.
