1 Round steak
1/2 c Flour
Salt and pepper
2 tb Fat
1 lg Onion; chopped
2 Potatoes; halved
1 Or 2 carrots; sliced
1 pt Tomatoes

3 Or 4 fresh; chopped
Sprinkle meat with the flour, salt and pepper and
pound it with the edge of a heavy saucer until
most of the flour is absorbed. Melt fat in
skillet; sear meat well on both sides; remove from
pan. Add onion and saute till tender. Return meat
and add remaining ingredients. Simmer on top of
stove, covered, for an hour or so until meat is
tender. Add water if necessary. Or if you already
have the oven on, bake at 350°. for 1 1/2 hours.
This is good.
