MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
      Title: Tomato Vegetable Soup
      Yield: 8 Servings
      1 md Onion; chopped
      2 tb Butter or margarine
      4 c  Water*
  2 1/2 lb Tomatoes; chopped
      2 md Carrots; diced
      1    Rib celery; finely chopped
      3    Chicken bouillon cubes*
      1 ts Sugar
      1 ts Dried basil
    1/2 ts Salt
    1/2 ts Dried thyme
    1/8 ts Ground mace
    1/8 ts Pepper

  *4 cups chicken broth.
  sauté onion in butter until tender in soup pot.
  Add remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce
  heat, cover and simmer until vegetables are
  tender, about 40 minutes.
  Makes about 2 quarts.
